Sorry test fan but this seems to be pretty conclusive evidence.Nah.
"Inzamam" is listed as a boy's name (as in a first/given name or "Christian" (in the western world) sense) everywhere on-line, and Ul Haq is listed as a "surname" meaning "the truth".
Inzamam-ul-Haq uses both "I" and "U". "Inzamam Ul Haq" (as one word) is not his surname or family name.
Red Hill's post is irrelevant, the rules are that cricinfo name is what is used, cricinfo has it as a hyphenated name so it is one name. Just because Inzamam can be a first name and ul Haq can be a surname does not mean they are in this case. Even if in reality it is a first name and surname, the rules still bind the draft to use whatever cricinfo lists even if it is wrong.Sorry test fan but this seems to be pretty conclusive evidence.
Inzy will have to count as an I and a U
It was a good bit of fun, pity Red Hill decided to ruin it with their terrible behaviour.Drafts are serious business, yall don't get it
It was a disagreement over a drafting technicality ffs. Stop assuming malice where there is none.It was a good bit of fun, pity Red Hill decided to ruin it with their terrible behaviour.
He insulted me earlier in the thread which caused me to put them on the ignore list but that did not stop them posting nonsense to get mr_mister to change their mind. Terrible behaviour. It was a disagreement over a drafting technicality ffs. Stop assuming malice where there is none.
move onease up. Rede hill has been in literally dozens of dradts without a problem. He was just giving his opinion on a grey area. And we just need to respect the draft manager (mister) and his decisions too, as happens 99% of the time, since he has gone to the effort of coming up with the idea and organising the draft .
