Yeah, I read Strachan's comments too. His 'apology' is straight out of the non-apology text book, isn't it. 'To anyone who may have been offended ...', and some blather about how he his comments may have been badly worded and therefore misunderstood. Er no, it all sounded pretty clear to me mate.

Quite something to downplay racial abuse and child abuse simultaneously. One can only shudder at what it says about his state of mind.
Anyone who talks about "all that racist stuff" is ****ing badly out of touch.

Ah yeah, it was Bendtner.. but I'm fairly sure Fabregas was involved somehow - was he the one whose shot was blocked?
you might be delighted to learn that Bendtner are currently terrorising the nightlife in Trondhjem, Norway, in between failing to score for Rosenborg

6 wins for Guardiola in 26 away knockout matches.

That's a pretty terrible record all things considered.

The talk of City winning the quadruple is grating on me. If Spurs can win the tie, it'd do some of us a service.

Seriously, they've won one of the four. At least wait until they've won two before going on about quadruples.
It's alright, when the inevitably lose one (or more) of them then you'll get to listen to all of the discourse around how the side is a failure because they didn't win the quadruple. That narrative was out in force last season as well.

Yeah, that narrative is daft as well. They're going to win at least two, probably three and the Champions League to make it four might be a bit of a stretch. Even if they don't win all four, this season will almost certainly not be a failure.
