Yes, they needed to win this one, they'll find it harder in the upcoming fixtures after Europa League Thursday games. They are so poor away from home. Everton have made enough chances to score 3 or 4.

Is the North London Derby as fierce as the internet makes out? I get that the internet exaggerates everything, but it does seem like a particularly toxic rivalry.

It's pretty full-on. The most intense of the London derbies easily. Not sure I would describe it as toxic though.

I can see his point, Johnson getting abused for his actions in being a nonce is clearly the same as being abused because of the colour of your skin, NOT.

Glad the idiot has been sacked, hope nobody uses him in future.

Just on a brighter note, that Watford vs Wolves match was one of the best I've followed for a while.

He was probably worried he was going to be called offside and tried to avoid touching it but in the process managed to touch it just the right amount for it not to go in. Incredible.

Yeah, I read Strachan's comments too. His 'apology' is straight out of the non-apology text book, isn't it. 'To anyone who may have been offended ...', and some blather about how he his comments may have been badly worded and therefore misunderstood. Er no, it all sounded pretty clear to me mate.

Quite something to downplay racial abuse and child abuse simultaneously. One can only shudder at what it says about his state of mind.
