That's so much worse an idea than just going off first innings lead ffs.
I was thinking this at first but if you just did first innings lead then the game is half dead before the second innings even starts. At least this way there is some incentive to be aggressive in the 2nd innings rather than just have 1 side trying to win and the other trying to draw, which was the problem in the first place

Cricketer Of The Year
Could be Cam White's last First-class cricket match. Been around forever
Seems like it will be. It's a shame, White has been a valuable contributor to both Australian and Victorian cricket over the years. Personally I think we need these elder statesmen to stay around, still think White has a fair bit to offer

EDIT: and he gets out driving at a wide one. Shouldn't have said anything

Well, that cricket journo certainly got that call wrong. :D

Looks a quality knock by Harris for a final.
You can't really fault Harris for this innings. Position saving IMO. No way Burns will be the one to stay after his terrible second half of the shield season. Which will make him officially the most dropped player since Damien Martyn.

Didn't Martyn have his famous dropping in 94 then upon recall a very extended run?

I feel perhaps Lehmann was dropped more, or maybe Phil Hughes
