It’s taken them three years but they’re finally giving Apollo Crews a character beyond smiling babyface that has friends.
Hmm dunno. A two minute talking segment which was mainly used to put over another feud that he isn't in doesn't fill me with much optimism.

Rosters shaping up pretty well honestly. Lucha Bros help a lot as both are genuine singles stars and Bucks vs. Lucha Bros could be a feud that id watch forever.

El Lindaman and T-Hawk are both Japanese. T-Hawk just won the Wrestle-1 World Title (W-1 is Mutoh's promotion) in January. All three left Dragon Gate to work for OWE, along with Takehiro Yamamura who is hurt. Also recently Seiki Yoshioka betrayed W-1 and joined them as well. As you said there's also some Chinese guys as well as some Americans that work OWE that join them, I think the Rascalz worked for STRONGHEARTS as well at some point?

Notes from AEW Press Conference

- Partnership with AAA, Sammy Guevara showed up so assuming some cruiserweight thing at Double or Nothing
- "Conrad is fat" - MJF
- Sonny Kiss signed
- Hangman Page vs. PAC
- Best Friends signed
- Lucha Bros coming out in suits at a press conference beside a pool is objectively hilarious and an ATG wrestling moment.
- Lucha Bros vs. The Young Bucks
- Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki at Double or Nothing - unsure if signed
- Kylie Rae + Nyla Rose signed
- Kylie Rae vs. Nyla Rose
- SCU vs. CIMA + 2 mates
- Kenny Omega signed AND is another executive vice-president of AEW
- Jericho vs. Kenny Omega II

Solid card, I'm keen to see what SCU vs. the OWE guys do. Aja Kong is pretty hype too. The rest aren't too surprising. Presumably we get Joey Janela vs. MJF.

Havoc vs. Cody?

Aja Kong doesn't need to sign anywhere and probably wouldn't be able to work any sort of full schedule anyways. Yuka is TJPW which is the DDT female fed. DDT is rumoured to be partnering with AEW in some capacity, so this is likely a sign of that.

Bye, Kenny. It's been fun.
It would've hurt New Japan less if they hadn't stalled Naito's organic rise to the top to put Kenny and the Elite over for the last year or so. Now a big percentage of the Western fans they've gained as a result will just follow them to AEW.

I know there's supposedly a possibility Omega works with New Japan in the future, but I don't see why you'd feature the EVP of a competitor on one of your events. It's not like a Jericho situation where he's just talent.

Don't forget New Beginning is on tonight.
Been a bit ehh so far imo. Only half paying attention, but Ishimori vs Taguchi looked fun.

Young Lions tag arguably the match of the card up until then.

EDIT: Ok loving this post-match.

Liger is great and all but if this doesn't show the Jnr division for what it is at the moment nothing does.

You have to presume Hiromu is back for BOSJ and a rematch at Dominion.
