Windies Team Discussion, and Other Related Things Thread

Good to see Sherfane Rutherford picking up a few wickets.

We are playing the Scorpions. At tea, they are 196/6 after 60 overs. Brandon King made 51(96),8x4,1x6, Blackwood with 44(65),6x4

Bowling for the Jaguars:

Rutherford: 8-2-38-3
Romario Shepherd: 10-2-31-1
Permaul: 13-2-49-2

Good to see the Red Steel having some kind of resurgence in the last couple of rounds.

They are playing the Barbados Pride and are sitting nicely on 252/4 (63 Overs)
Lendll Simmons announced his return to red ball cricket with a spanking century: 138(152), 16x4, 5x6, Jason Mohammed on 73*(134), 11x4

Bowling for the Pride:
Marquino Mindley: 11-2-36-2
Kevin Stoute: 11-3-33-2

And in the other game, Volcano vs Hurricanes

Leewards are batting first, 170/3 in the 60th over. Montcin Hodge made 61(146), 10x4. Keacy Carty on 37*(107),3x4

Bowling for the Volcanoes:

Larry Edward: 22-10-35-1
Josh Thomas: 18-4-52-1

8th wicket down.

Motie strikes again.

He is getting some purchase off the wicket. He was guilty earlier of bowling a few long-hops, far more than what is expected at this level of cricket. That is being reflected on his bowling figures: 13.2-2-58-2

Jason Mohammed currently on 96*

A good day so far for TT. They are 277/7 after 77 overs.

In fact, all of the games have over 200+ runs. Leewards just past 200 with 5 wickets in the bag

Very interesting to see Simmons playing against. What's his reason for playing red ball again? Does he have ambitions to play tests again?

I think it's more of a artillery to the TT team. They brought in Rampaul a few weeks ago, now Lendll on board.

Jerome Taylor is playing for the Jamaican team even though he retired from tests.

I would love to give you a figure. But I can't find a single one so far.
If them boys want to play cricket, let them play.
I think it's brilliant they are back playing. If simmons was to get his head down and give it a fair go then there's potentially an opening spot still up for grabs as well as Campbell has done he hasn't secured it yet

We have a bunch of former/ex/current-test cricketers still on the joint:

Rampaul
Ramdin
Devon Smith
Jerome Taylor
Nikita Miller
Assad Fudadin
Blackwood
Johnson
Devon Thomas
Permaul
Kieran Powell

These are all the names on top of my head.
