He's only played 5 List A games (and not as an opener) at an average of 16.5 but it's Rachin time.
I've seen enough of Phillips in the CPL to have no doubt he'd be up to it. Even though it's apples and oranges, he did dominate some top quality bowlers.Phillips didn't look international standard the few times I saw him play.
.
nah. no point taking massive risks with future kanes trying to win a world cup we're not going to winHe's only played 5 List A games (and not as an opener) at an average of 16.5 but it's Rachin time.
Nah, I was joking.nah. no point taking massive risks with future kanes trying to win a world cup we're not going to win
Why Bracewell when he's not even close to one of our best bowlers? Just because he scored a meaningless 50, not under pressure when we got thumped on Saturday?Phillips didn't look international standard the few times I saw him play.
I'd move Kane up to open and maybe have Neesham or Nicols at 3. I think Neesham and Bracewell should play in our best XI.
They just couldn’t have done a worse job in planning for this World Cup. All these things should have been trialed last year. For me it's more just that if they wanted Guptill to be the hitter they should've gone for that months ago. He's perfectly capable of it, but messing with his role so close to a WC is a bit of a risk for such an awesome and important player. Sometimes taking risks is the right call, but it's certainly a risk all the same.
Noanaru kitchen recall imo
He's looked pretty decent the few times I've seen him bat since his return. Why Bracewell when he's not even close to one of our best bowlers? Just because he scored a meaningless 50, not under pressure when we got thumped on Saturday?
