A long way out, but jeez it's hard to see a side other than England or India winning the WC. It's daylight to 3rd.

I just don't understand the thinking of NZC. I'm a big fan of CdG, he's got x-factor and he's probably gonna win you 1 game every now and again, yet they rest him from the Sri Lanka series but also don't make him play any domestic cricket in that time. The guy literally hasn't played cricket for almost a month and then comes in and fails. What did they think was gonna happen?
And it's not like he'd been performing prior to that, he really struggled in the UAE. If anything he needed game-time to regain some sort of form.

I think the last couple of years of autopilot ODI selections are really coming back to haunt us now. A lot of the side isn't performing at all, and due to the safe selections we've made, we've run out of time to bring anyone new into the side and are looking at being bundled out in group stage of the WC unless we improve very quickly.

Kuldeep's ODI average dips under 20. Apart from that one match against Australia a couple of games back, I don't think he's ever got smashed either. Just delivers every time.

This series is a big letdown so far. Nothing competitive. Dob't see them adjusting to the wrist spinners so fast. India might just whitewash it.

I dare you to nickname him "The Mailman".

I dare you.

With this bowling attack, I actually think India look a little stronger than England tbh.

There are other Dark Horses in world cup. Also underestimating Australia and South Africa would be foolish. In fact its England which appears to be at top, for obvious reasons, while India at distant second.

Whilst the 2-3 scoreline possibly flattered NZ a little when England came 12 months ago, India look a stronger all-round side to me. England's bowling attack doesn't look nearly as strong, although they do have more depth in batting.

How funny that Bracewell is the one NZ player emerging with credit from these two games, and most of us still wouldn't have him our WC squad (or is that set to change?)
