Yeah i don’t really see how Indian fans celebrating their team’s historic achievement is annoying tbh.

Even if it was a against a seriously depleted Australian outfit who had no luck at all and who, but for losing three tosses and being on the wrong end of a series of umpiring errors which, had they gone the other way would have seen their opponents threaten to go home, together with Indian cheating in Adelaide re Pujara not walking and the last catch bouncing would clearly have won 3-0.

Let them have their moment ffs. They’re always very gracious in defeat and in victory, as any perusal of the 2008 series thread will amply show.

I tend to find economy with facts annoying (except when I'm doing it), especially when used in the pursuit of smug.

You wouldn't have thought this team had just lost 3-1 against an England team with no top order thanks to a sandy haired 20-year old. Winning this series doesn't mean that India will constantly dominate forever from now on.
Australia lost 1-2 against an Indian team with no Kumble, srinath. A 21-year old spinner destroyed them along with a guy averaging 27 with the bat. These things happen.

India have a W/L ratio of 3.111 in the last 4 years (4 years encompass an entire home-away cycle). Next best is 1.461. So India have been dominating for a while now. This win is just a symptom of that domination. We will lose here and there but will constantly dominate from now on.

**** can you imagine if it was reversed? We'd be hearing for decades about cheating Aussies claiming catches to win the Adelaide Test and bribing umpires

Seems like your sole purpose in coming here was to stir up ****. What does that series have anything to do with cricket now?

Not a moment, not a moment at all. An era. An infinite neverending era.

It was 4-1 lol. Still can't believe how such a hotly contested series ended up with that scoreline.

It happens. 2013 Ashes in England was a close contest other than 1 game, Aus got the better of 2 matches that happened to be rain-affected, result was 3-0.

2015 Ashes was 3-2 but nowhere near as close.

I'd just insult you directly, but only Marc can get away with that. Once again your analogy is wrong.
No it isn't. The great Australian team (95-07) lost series in Eng, Ind (twice), SL, drew in WI etc. These things happen. Does not take away from the greatness of their era.

Insult me all you like. The Indian cricket team has delivered a far greater insult Australians than I can muster (or for that matter you can).

No-one outside of India will remember this Indian team as a great team unless they win England and South Africa whereas you are implying in your previous posts that India is going to dominate test cricket literally forever from now on. Come back in 30 years when whatever happens has happened, and then we can have a talk around facts (if test cricket even exists then).

That’s 4 series in 12 years. One of them a mini series. India’s half way to that in one year.

Australia won in SL in 2004 and Ind 2004, 9 years after their era had begun. India's only begun in 2015 with the coronation of King Kohli. Give it time.
