Feeling good about my Heat bet. Just feels they're so suited to chasing low totals. Could lose two early wickets in the powerplay but as long as they're attacking everything they can steal the game early

Also, how the hell is Jono Wells worth a spot over Jake Lehmann. Wells averaged 23 in FC from over 50 matches. Dreadful

Curran serving up a couple of rank full bungers at the death, his first real misstep of the tournament

FWIW Wells is probably at his best in T20 cricket, good worker of the ball. Sharp in the field too. Good innings today

I don't understand why they don't use pinch hitters more. Rashid Khan coming in at nearly any of the fall of wickets would have been a good idea. Every middle order bat scratches around for the first few overs because it's 'hard to go from ball one'. But Khan would swing immediately and another 20(10) from him could be game changing. And if he gets a duck it barely matters

Wells is way better than Lehmann at T20s

Lehmann's earned this drop by being happy to sit at no. 6 and never having to play an actual innings.

Surely he wants to be batting higher. His t20 record is bad but he always comes in with an over to go

Avendano really plays and misses innocuous balls outside off a lot

You'd think if he wanted to he could have had the no. 4 spot ahead of Short & Wells. I know it's a but of an assumption but I tend to think he must have wanted to stay right down the order for some reason
