Yea I've long argued that being a FTB or HTB is worthwhile to a team, in that you will still perform regularly in a good chunk of conditions and win your side games.
Good batsmen cash in when conditions are in their favour

Harris & Labu played nicely but when you take the conditions into a/c, their scores were nowhere near enough

Skipped mentioning 83 win as millenials wouldnt have savoured the enormity when it happened(hardly a year or two old by then).Perth is great too but on a lower pedestal to above three.

To me none of the wins matter more than the fact that we have a bowling attack that's not a joke. That gives me the most pleasure.

The satisfaction from this series win comes a close second, followed by the WC in '11.

Kuldeep one of the few bowlers to take a Michelle in all forms of cricket says Alison whatshername. Impressive if true. Meanwhile how bad do you have to be to struggle on this pitch as a batsman? Cummins shaming them atm. In fact he’s almost taken Handscomb

Shaun Marsh deservedly getting criticism but in terms of senior bats, Khawaja been the bigger disappointment for mine.

Only one significant innings this series, barely making more of an impact than Marsh. By this stage of his career he should be doing much more.
He’s soft in the head like Marsh, just he gets a couple more starts. Still doesn’t actually get forward to defend or drive, yet is meant to be the best available batsman in the country.

A career born in, of and steeped in abject mediocrity. Would be happy if he didn’t play again too.

I’ve no doubt that the Australian batsmen are all incredibly gifted as you simply have to be to reach state level let alone play tests BUT virtually every one of them makes it hard for themselves

Cummins has a very simple technique & plays balls on their merit

The majority are all over the place with footwork and thinking
