Wade and Short look the 2 form white-ball players in Australia this season.

Neither picked for the One Day series. Fml

It just keeps getting worse doesn't it? No wonder we usually get trounced in the internationals.
i find myself getting annoyed by the excuses getting trotted out as to why batsmen are prank standard against spin of any description, let alone decent spin. "oh he bowls mystery balls and is hard to pick", yeah, like every ****ing year, so when will you lot actually sit down and work on it? it surely can't be a surprise by now.

Surely sixers can't keep justifying picking Joe Denly
For some reason it seems to be all but written into international players' contracts that they have to play. Remember a couple of years back when the Thunder kept playing Russell even when he was limping? IPL teams rarely seem to have compunctions about dropping players.

Denly has just looked useless. At least play a local youngster like Edwards with a future.

'Canes look the real deal. GOAT Big Bash opening pair and classy middle order finishers. It's the perfect combination and they aren't losing a single player to the Aus ODI team.

That's because they've got a bunch of internationals on the bench to replace with them.

If the Sixers drop Denly they'll be bringing in Edwards, who has already played in most of their games so far for an average of 7. And for all TJB's talk about players with promise or a future etc, one of the only redeeming features left of the Big Bash in spite of the standard dropping is that the teams are just trying to win the thing rather than develop players for something else.

Philippe has cost the Sixers this game. Nothing knock, dropped a soda and the world’s worst throw to a bowler there when a run out was nigh a certainty
