That was dire from Henriques. Not only deciding to take the run, but didn't dive, didn't even attempt to make his ground.

Was a weird one. Really looked like he assumed the play was over once Wade's throw went wide and didn't expect Short to have a crack at the stumps.

damn Denly was actually looking like he might do something today, but great ball from Bwerta. Looked like it actually went away off the wicket.
Yeah it did, I've seen him bowl it a few times now. They finally showed a slow mo of it and it's basically a well-disguised leg cutter.

What a champ he is for learning a new delivery at this stage of his career. I can imagine a lot of players just not bothering at this point.

Archer's been leaking runs a bit this year, often through a bit of bad luck. Reminds me a lot of when Brett Lee used to go for a few late in ODIs because he was bowling too quick and the batsmen kept edging him for 4s

Two terrible run outs for the Sixers in the last two games.

Think they’re going to be 15-20 short here. Good knock Hughes but the Henriques run out will kill them.

those used to annoy the **** out of me and i never put it down to bad luck because of how often it happened and how little captains bothered to do about it

It always annoyed me that Lee bowled at the death at all. He should have been used for 4-5 overs up front (maybe more if he was especially on song) and 1 or 2 shorter spells through the middle overs looking for a breakthrough.

it was one of my out-there-and-probably-dumb opinions for a while that slip is a very legitimate and woefully underused fielding position at the death

Urrrgghhh. Always a thread’s nadir when Lee is mentioned in a positive light in any context.

His weetbix ads were always rad when I was a kid. I still only do three like an idiot.

I always had the impression he just plain lacked sense.

Which was never better illustrated than when he pubclicly backed Abbott in 2013.

That's one of the worst misses I've ever seen. On the other hand keeping Doolan in is good for Sydney. At least Abbott's assorted trash didn't pick up another wicket yet.
