Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

The perfect wicket for a sub-continent team really. Won't be loads of sideways movement but quick enough and good bounce.

I`m starting to think that SA may need to flatten the pitches a bit.... just to get a full game in.

Suppose this is what playing in UAE most of the time will do.
The effect is really being felt now that Younis (and Misbah to a lesser extent) are gone. Very few batsmen being produced who seem to have the technique to cope with bounce. It doesn't seem to help their bowling attack either as there's too much of a burden on Yasir to take wickets. The pitches this season were a bit more bowler-friendly TBF.

Love watching a pitch with bounce and carry and it is a real test for batsmen that are used to the placid nature of the UAE pitches. Some deliveries have contained excessive tennis ball bounce but it is more exciting to watch.
