Well once again if Waugh “knew” it was a bumped ball then so must have Matthews and in so knowing, would not have motioned for a referral.Amusing to me that generally if a claim (or referral is asked for) on a bumped ball the assumption is the fielder 'knew' and was taking a chance and cheating.... I'm not sure why that is but it is a happy affection in cricket.
Lol lik theyre remotely the same. Waugh picked it up off the ground. Yes I know this has been pointed out before but until you admit it it shall be repeated.Well once again if Waugh “knew” it was a bumped ball then so must have Matthews
Youd back him to be better than anyone else at that too.Cummins is a finger spinner as well? ... true allrounder.
It’s good there were two incidents in that match, as it fits with most Kiwis having a chip on both shoulders. It is 31 years to the day since umpire Dick French robbed NZ of a Melbourne Boxing Day test victory (McDermott plumb to Morrison). Earlier in the test Greg Dyer cheated with a dropped catch he claimed off Andrew Jones. I was just a kid but remember it vividly.
Waugh picked it up off the grass. Mathews did not appeal.I don’t care. You said he knew. Where is your proof? A confession? A confidence betrayed and leaked? How do you know he knew? How do you know Matthews didn’t?
Haha yeah good times.
Turns out McCullum spent some of his formative time as a cricketer with the NSW team in the early 2000's.Ha yeah. Remember that time when MacCallum ran out Murali who was congratulating Sanga for his hundred? What a sleaze. Another 30 runs from a blazing Sanga may have been enough for a SL win.
He did it in this game too, to Mpofu celebrating with Mahwire. It was even less necessary here given NZ were an innings and 46 runs ahead, Zimbabwe only had one wicket left and Mpofu was one of the worst Test #11s of all time.Ha yeah. Remember that time when MacCallum ran out Murali who was congratulating Sanga for his hundred? What a sleaze. Another 30 runs from a blazing Sanga may have been enough for a SL win.
nah mate nothing wrong with that, he'd earned the right to be aggressiveHe did it in this game too, to Mpofu celebrating with Mahwire. It was even less necessary here given NZ were an innings and 46 runs ahead, Zimbabwe only had one wicket left and Mpofu was one of the worst Test #11s of all time.
