Fair enough, nothing to get revenge on so we'll save that first Southee century for India's next visit.Highest score by a Sri Lankan #8 or lower against NZ looks like 70*

you just know they'd throw a massive tantrum as well and try and get the rules changed for bat sizes or make it so bowlers have to retire at 50 or somethingFair enough, nothing to get revenge on so we'll save that first Southee century for India's next visit.
Brendon Kuruppu, a no 8 wk, averaging 25 in FCC, did a double century against Hadlee and coAmazing catch, prevented a likely hundred, hilarious considering it's Southee we're talking about.
Was trying to think if any Sri Lankan has ever done the Harbhajan/ Saqlain/ Junior Murray embarrassing hundred against us, but none sprung to mind.
.
India are so used to the opposition lower order ****ing them over at this point that they won't even care.you just know they'd throw a massive tantrum as well and try and get the rules changed for bat sizes or make it so bowlers have to retire at 50 or something
Rule 742.b - batting conditions should be challenging enough that Tim Southee cannot score a test century.you just know they'd throw a massive tantrum as well and try and get the rules changed for bat sizes or make it so bowlers have to retire at 50 or something
Ok you win, didn't know about that one.Brendon Kuruppu, a no 8 wk, averaging 25 in FCC, did a double century against Hadlee and co

Fixed.Gunathilaka is atrocious. Bring back literally anyone else.
Yeah it's weird, Boult overtook Southee's career tally by one wicket and Southee's now taken the next 12 between them. Boult hasn't bowled badly in that time - I don't think he has swung the ball as much as he'd like but has been tight.Southee's having a pretty good day. Boult can't seem to buy a wicket at the mo.
Gunathileke is crapHa ha, thought Southee might finally better his debut 77*. Anyway, good on him, has given NZ something to bowl at.
