Apart from Southee, the bowling has been poor. Need more bouncers! How dare you imply any of those things about the Kaneh in that sentence.
Bowling has been a bit inaccurate since the three early wickets though.

Boult's been ok and kept the runs down I guess. A couple of streaky moments for SL against the short ball, but overall they've played it well and taken plenty of runs from it.Apart from Southee, the bowling has been poor. Need more bouncers!
His best of 196 came in the pink ball test Vs Pakistan in the UAE.He won’t catch Kohli but Karunaratne isn’t far away from being the 2nd most prolific test batsman over the past two years. Likes New Zealand as well, only place outside home and Zimbabwe where he has scored a test hundred.
He was dropped for the England LOI leg by Hathurusinghe post Asia Cup woes, due to poor running between the wickets and match fitness. Afterwards he prolly hit the nearby gym for the first time since he his mid 20s.Mathews looks like he's been on the mend a bit recently. Nice to see, he's one of my favourites to watch when he gets going.
Either Mathews or Chandimal or both have to get a daddy hundred. That means Dikwella and Dilruwan have to bat out of their skins. I am still wrorried of Dikwella to play genuine pace. I always though Kusal Janth is a much better player of pace, and additionally he intimidated bowlers more than ND.Would definitely have taken 4/170 at tea had it been offered this morning, I'm still concerned that the two most experienced batsmen have literally scored all the runs, if none of them goes on to get a hundred that would be a genuinely poor result. Looks like a bowl em out and stack em on kind of pitch where the team batting 2nd tries to get so far in front that they can't lose
