also when a bloke tries to push for singles and twosHe’s looked brilliant tbh. Shows what happens when a new player makes a score and doesn’t feel under pressure for his place.

Maxwell averages in the 40's in FC and has a Test ton.Yeah so they are good white ball players, anyone who thinks a range of shots means basically anything in Tests is laughable.
Please don't make me explain yet again that discipline is talent and not just the ability to hit the ball. You can't be a talented Test match player if you lack the mental ability to put together big scores - not possible. It like you haven't watched them bat. They could do the job they just throw it away. They have the talent but not the discipline.
Sony Six has him down as Vijay. Screenshot of the typo anyone?
Agree, it can be uselful to have extra shots. But it’s not the main part of the battingYeah so they are good white ball players, anyone who thinks a range of shots means basically anything in Tests is laughable.
I think you're getting Shaun Marsh seriously wrong. He's a different kind of player to Maxwell. He's not purely a good shotmaker, he does know how to build an innings. It's just starting that's his issue, I don't think his ability to play soft shots when set is any better or worse than most Test players.Yeah so they are good white ball players, anyone who thinks a range of shots means basically anything in Tests is laughable.
He's a better flighter than North but gets no more turn. And the flight doesn't really matter when you get out cutting.C'mon, he's in a different category to Nosey North, surely.
it's a lot easier to learn how to construct a big innings than it is to get better hand eye coordination to be fairPlease don't make me explain yet again that discipline is talent and not just the ability to hit the ball. The anti-Khawaja.Head has been brilliant run between the wickets as well
Even in white ball cricket, he's always looked better to me when he's not trying to force it too much. He's a good enough natural strokeplayer to play each ball on its merits. He’s looked brilliant tbh. Shows what happens when a new player makes a score and doesn’t feel under pressure for his place.
yeah he definitely loses his shape a bit when he tries to absolutely thrash the ballEven in white ball cricket, he's always looked better to me when he's not trying to force it too much. He's a good enough natural strokeplayer to play each ball on its merits.
Such an under-rated part of an alpha male cricketer's armoury.also when a bloke tries to push for singles and twos
Maxwell won a WC for Australia, averages 41 in fc and is technically correctI keep hearing this. Is he really that naturally talented?
Yeah that's probably true, Marsh isn't actually a terrible Test player/has had an ok career. He is more meme than anything.I think you're getting Shaun Marsh seriously wrong.
