I've only seen a few overs between the gym and coming back, but this Vihari looks decent to me. Why's everyone piling in on him so much?

Both, especially Maxwell, are much more than clean strikers. They have a great range of shots and when in the right frame of mind can execute them. Silly comment.

He looks really good at the crease in terms of overall shape. Doesn't count for jack given his record obv.

Head is a seriously good player. Compact, aggressive can score different kind of runs.

Once Warner/Smith are back the batting line up should be halfway decent, nothing world beating but pretty solid.

Yeah so they are good white ball players, anyone who thinks a range of shots means basically anything in Tests is laughable.

yeah he seems particularly suited to the 5/6 sort of role, which we've needed for a while

Shami reminds me of a better Munaf Patel at times. Both really drive me up the wall because they have periods every match where they simply go through the motions. I couldn't stand Patel's cud-chewing face by the end of his pathetic career. Shami aggravates me similarly.

Yeah so they are good white ball players, anyone who thinks a range of shots means basically anything in Tests is laughable.

It like you haven't watched them bat. They could do the job they just throw it away. They have the talent but not the discipline.
