Is the Indian bowlers' plan to get the batsmen driving by literally bowling 6 balls on a fifth stump line instead of using it as a sucker ball?

I don't think some here realise how little solidity actually is in this batting lineup.
Well there is Khawaja.

But yeah it feels like a collapse is imminent every time a wicket falls. Finch, Head, Handscomb, Harris are all unproven. Marsh is rocks and diamonds. Only Khawaja is solid.

It's really not acceptable selection policy IMO. If we win it'll be due to a combination of the bowlers and incompetence of Indian bowling.

Haha would be amazing if this was legit their plan, because you just know a plan like that would actually work on basically the whole Indian top order outside of Pujara

Seven bringing home how much spare batting we had in the late nineties. All those guys would walk into this team.

There was a guy who played for Qld in the 90s 00s called Clinton Perren. He was never on the radar as even a back up player. Now, with a FC ave of 35 he'd be a candidate for the test team.

Jimmy Maher with a Jake Lehmann-esque average would be impossible to resist.
