this isn't the fairest comparison given it uses peak kane v little root. remember how ****ing **** kane was until Taylors Test? barring his dayboo knock and that ballsy one on the final day against sa he'd been useless. averaged below 30 i believe
Yeah but he was thrust into the side way too early. Sachin took like 80 innings to get his first ODI hundred.

how are you this nice? in your position i'd be spitting fire and bile at my tv because i take losing very well
Implying anyone loses when Kane is beasting it.

A homeless child eats a hot meal each time he scores a run.

Peak Kane is actually from 26th Nov 2014, he averages 69.02 in the 32 Tests since then

That Windies tour earlier in that year was when the hype train accelerated towards the second star to the right imo.

Reverse culumative does Root no favours. Highest he gets to is 53.91. Kohli peaks at 73.36 23 matches ago.

also lol at baz stats in that period. average of 50, strike rate of 100, 3 tons in 12 tests. as soon as he became skipper it was like he was on drugs

Never forget the stats padding of the Windies series, Flem.

EDIT: Oh and the non-Adelaide Tests of that NZ tour, too.

Such fun times to watch NZ cricket under his Reich though. Never seen an NZ player break an opposing captain's brain so badly as he did during the last drug-fueled bender.

loved watching him bat once he learned to let go and went mental. the only blots were the first tour to sa which made him as a skipper and the 5 disgraceful tests against our mental block team, australia, who nz will always perform less than the expected fight against unless they're completely written off.

that final ton tho. it warms my heart that somewhere out there in this hellish world, both richard and benchmark were watching that and bleeding internally for very different but equally unstable reasons.
