Zampa genuinely bowling well in this format these days. Good chase India. Won it in their first five batting overs

Australia lost it when Maxwell decided to give long on batting practice and Stoinis decided to make Lynn run 1.75 pitches and get caught short. I do like the idea of a bit of flexibiitly in the batting - going with L/R where practical and keeping Lynn away from the spinners. Worth persisting with imo

DK taking on the responsibility is the biggest positive for India imo, sorely need a dependable middle order bat.

India are the only SC side to draw a test series in Aus since 2000, in 2003. The one before that was Pak back in the 70s.

A good win this. 5 alphas were able to clear the large SCG boundaries today. Several betas tried, none could.

lol. Against the mighty Brad Williams? Tough series
The vibes going around at that time was that Aus second XI could easily defeat any team in the world. This series was a reminder of how lame that expectation was, how awesome Mcgrath was and how much his absence and retirement would hurt Aus in the years to come.

That's exactly why I said India should have won?

Also why India won't come close to winning this time. India could face an Australia C XI in Australia and still wouldn't be able to win the series.

Does India consider a drawn series here a win, or something? If so, congrats on last night’s 1-1 series triumph

Wonder what Brad Williams is up to these days? Last I heard he owned a building company that went under, that was a good few years back now
