Bizarre the names left out at least half of whom have either massive potential or are very good in this form... Kind of understandable with all the overseas and overseas South African returnees, but then somehow Marco Marais and Thomson (both who admittedly kill @ provinicial level, but has never converted his limited franchise opportunities) have contracts. Hamza, Ackermann, Muthusamy, Gous, vd Bergh, Moonsamy (who although has lacked consistency has proven to go big...) seem like most bizarre.

My biggest surprises of not being picked have to be Breetzke and van Tonder.

I know Ricketon has been scoring runs, which is great; but the little I`ve seen of him he seems a bit limited in shot selection or am I talking nonsense?

I got rid of DSTV more than a year ago, but I do miss the cricket coverage and international Test rugby. I don't even have a TV anymore so can't even watch the MSL :-/

But if DSYV gave you the option to just have SS1 and 2, at, say, R300 a month, I'd grab it.

Never gonna happen.... only reason to have DSTV is the sports channels. Everything else can be obtained via Netflix etc so you might as well spend that money on good internet access. I'm lucky to have it available because of where I stay, could not otherwise afford.

From the other night you aren't talking nonsense where he could hit every leg side shot, cut, did all the ramps, reverse sweeps but infr front of square on off-side not much. In fact I want too see Janneman hit more in this area too.

But if you watch Kippax's videos Rickelton drives through the off side well too. Just didn't show it the other night. Sometimes you get caught up in the T20 bubble with your stroke-play. Think playing 4-day cricket like with Janneman can make them more compact to eventually push for higher honours.
