I know Boult bowled well that test we won in UAE last time, though this spell has been better imo

It's definitely not a full UAE road this pitch either, even considering that both sides are better at bowling than batting.

Pakistan still way ahead though. Must be weird playing in empty-ish stadiums. Feels like practice games more than anything.

i hope someone screenshotted those 2018 bowling figures for next time the australians compare their glass bowling attack to the 80s windies and pump jackson birds tyres

Pakistan 123/4 like us with a chance to hit 123/5, but Sodhi bowls the worst ball of his spell for an easy boundary

Time to give Ajaz another bowl - Sodhi and Wagner have both been average

edit: Wagner better now he's bowling some short balls

great to see first test wicket for Ajaz!

or would be, except Foxtel ****knuckles aren't showing this session, so I can't see it

im officially saying howsie was mean to call ajaz a declaration bowler. he's no herath but i can see why he gets so many shield wickets. even with no assistance on nz pitches the accuracy he's shown here would be too much for the patience of domestic batsmen.

Really happy that Boult has been adapting well to these conditions so far. Ever improving as a bowler in all formats.

Well bowled by Ajaz there - slowed it up and tempted Bilal to have a hoik, Watling a bit slow with the stumping, took it a long way behind the stumps but just got there in time.

How's the pitch been playing today? Taking more turn?

Respectable enough figures for Patel so far, looks like he's performed the Santner role well enough.
