Speaking of the commentary, I though Nine finally got it right last summer by going with two at a time and I think Fox needs the same.

To me a choke is losing a game from a match-winning position through pressure. I don't think Australia were ever really in a match-winning position.

I have now resigned to the fact that cricket will never really understand 'choke'. The term has been corrupted beyond repair now. Even Bangladesh 'chocked' against Zimbabwe the other day.

I remember that game, when Gayle was looking somewhat pained running between the wickets Howie speculated he may have picked up a groin strain through overuse, this occurred before the don't blush baby interview but seemed to be entirely forgotten once the media picked the story up the next day.

It turns out if you drop three catches, bowl absolute puss in the death overs and miss an easy run out your opponents can set a target you find difficult to chase.

I really felt like Australia were screwed completely when Stoinis got out but Carey and Marsh gave me some hope. It was all over the second Marsh got out though. This was a pitch that was a bit difficult to get started on against an excellent attack. Maxwell did his best but chasing 60 from 20 is asking a but much, even in this era.

I felt like the better team ended up winning the series but I'm glad Australia took it close. Honestly while we need to win I think the South African middle order batted brilliantly today and deserved the win. It was probably good for our pace bowlers to be put under pressure, it exposed a few things that can be corrected before the world cup.

The preparation Australia has had in the lead up to the cup has been exceptionally difficult so I don't think we're as bad as the recent history suggests. But Australia needs to work on the little one percentage plays.

Carey should have taken that catch.
Cummins shouldn't have panicked and affected the run out.
Head shipped have held the catch.
Finch should have caught the ball.

The bowlers should be working to deliberate plans in the final ten overs. Even with set batsmen there's no way you sold ever leak 130 runs off 10 overs.

I'm not even concerned with our batting tonight. Aside from Head who looks completely out of touch, I don't think there's too much wrong there considering the quality of the attack and the lack of availability of our two best batsmen.
