In my defence, I was skimming the articleProbably at the West Indies as well
Nice. I heard a rumour that O'Donnell couldn't break into the Aus test team on a regular basis cause he was shagging one of the selectors' ex-wives! Not sure if it's true or not.Simon O'Donnell played 24 for StKilda, the last of which was in 83.
I've never heard that one. But he was Victorian, so that made his job considerably harder.Nice. I heard a rumour that O'Donnell couldn't break into the Aus test team on a regular basis cause he was shagging one of the selectors' ex-wives! Not sure if it's true or not.
It happened when they were walking of the field.... Warner reacted instantly.Warner is a stereotypical bully. He dishes it out but had a very thin skin and can't take it back.
But. In this case the person who sledged him may have been more important than anything else. Given it was Phil Hughes' brother, the sledge may have brought up memories and feelings from that dreadful day in 2014. Given everyone is being tight lipped about it in willing to cut Warner a tiny bit of slack on this one. Even the de Kock altercation didn't see Warner acting on anything until he was off field.
Even Warner's wife is going on about crossing the line. He'll get even more of it after this display.https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/the-sledge-that-prompted-warner-s-walk-off-20181028-p50chd.html
****ing sook.
The game will be much better if David Warner is never picked for Australia again.
Course he will, I'm not an advocate for that but gee whiz - to storm off a field because someone says you shouldn't be allowed to play cricket (and I kinda agree, if you're banned you're banned) after the years of abuse you've given out, holy ****. That's dumb even for him. I can't think of anyone else that plays cricket the way he does on the international stage so hopefully if we rid the game of him, we'll be able to get on without too much of this crap.Even Warner's wife is going on about crossing the line. He'll get even more of it after this display.
A year ago we all thought he had changed. Then for some reason he started acting like a jerk again around the ashes. He's had enough chances to change as well. Punching Joe Root, the South Africa stuff (where he could've asked "what can I do to stop this stuff?") and this ban. Yet he doesn't change. It's time to give up on him in this regard and decide whether his behaviour can be tolerated for the rest of his potential career.
