He's been serviceable this test. Taken poles and made 70 odd runs so far. If only S&M Marsh had done as much we'd have been in much better positions in both tests.

I think the big issue with him was that he'd pull the "I haven't seen him play" BS when he was a selector. That's probably less relevant now he's not, and obviously won't be a factor in internationals.

We all know it wouldn't have changed Langer's view of them. He still talks players up by comparing them to Bancroft.

Trust Khawaja to get injured just before a series against India. He better recover in time for at least part of the series. India winning a series in Australia, even if it is against a seriously weak side like this doesn't bear thinking about.

With six new guys coming in and the pace attack being weak what other outcome could there have been? This should be the end of the Marshes. Looking forward to Finch and Zaman as test match batsmen and dearly hoping Abbas keeps killin' it.

Congrats Pakistan. Far too good. Pleasure watching Abbas bowl. He’s fantastic.

Series scoreline better than I expected but still feel pissed off at how insipid our blokes were. Hall of mirrors.

The thing is we could have put up more of a first innings fight in both tests. That's all I really wanted to see.
