If he plays in Australia, I will pay a lot to hear Ian Chappel try pronounce it.Marnus Labuschagne? De Grandhomme has some competition on the name front I see?
We call him la boo shane and I think he has adopted that pronunciation now.If he plays in Australia, I will pay a lot to hear Ian Chappel try pronounce it.
He is not from Benoni so its not La-Bu-Shay...
Yeah there's a video around of him telling people what the "South African pronunciation" is and what the "Australian pronunciation" is, and that either are fine by him. So Chappell (if he's actually commentating in Australia at all anymore?) will be calling him "Lubber-shane" I'm sure.We call him la boo shane and I think he has adopted that pronunciation now.
Haha I'd actually forgotten I'd made this post until Daemon liked it just now. Gun.At home in a post-Misbah, post-Younis world, Hafeez is a must. Haters gonna hate and he shouldn't play in SA (not that I expect whoever they'd pick in his place to do much better, unless it was Sami Aslam which it sadly won't be) but he definitely increases their chances of winning this series.
Yeah thought as muchWe call him la boo shane and I think he has adopted that pronunciation now.
There's an even more recent one where he tells people to think of it as Labuschagne rhymes with Champagne and to not bother at all with the Afrikaans pronunciationYeah there's a video around of him telling people what the "South African pronunciation" is and what the "Australian pronunciation" is, and that either are fine by him.
