Watched Neymar absolutely destroy Belgrade then Messi managed to somehow take it to another level. We kind of take it for granted but really don't think it's an overreaction to say that was one of the best performances I've ever seen. The only ones better would probably be other Messi performances.

On the goal show they didn't go to Naples a great deal for any look at chances or anything like that. Impression was that Napoli were full value for their win but it came about as much from them totally nullifying Liverpool's attack as much as any domination on their part.
They must seriously be regretting only taking a draw from Belgrade.

I hate that debate because it almost always involves people ignoring goalkeepers and defenders. The likes of Yashin, Beckenbauer and Baresi should be in the debate but rarely get mentioned. And then how do you quantify the influence of Cruyff into the debate? It gets so messy and yet people often give bold opinions with little nuance.
