And he's done it as a walking lbw and a front leg stiffer than a corpse all through the tournament.edwards doing a good job in his role as Only Young NSW Batsman
Do you actually not rate his technique? I think he has a lot to work with especially since he is still only 18.And he's done it as a walking lbw and a front leg stiffer than a corpse all through the tournament.
That's almost QLD level of grit
I dont think so, but maybe. Interesting player who seems to have poor periods and than good (but not great) runs too across formats. Maybe a poor one day series = goos Shield.Has Daniel Hughes bottle finaĺly burst.
That sounded harsher than I actually think of him. I really like Jack's style and the tools are there that make me think he has the potential to be better than average. But when I see a new batsman I like my eye always goes to how they can get better.Do you actually not rate his technique? I think he has a lot to work with especially since he is still only 18.
Yeah I read it that way too but get what you mean now. Youngest ever Australian domestic 50 over century is some effort. That sounded harsher than I actually think of him. Wildermuth out, Prestwidge out, Gode call-upFeel for Gode who is a decent bloke and top quality all round cricketer.
NSW really have bowled their way back into this match. 350+ was on the cards with QLD 2/200 at the 30 over mark.
Henriques looks this good for NSW every season. Then he gets picked for Australia and we all know how that goes.Yeah I read it that way too but get what you mean now. Youngest ever Australian domestic 50 over century is some effort.
Henriques has looked very good this season just quietly.
Do feel sorry for Gode, must be tough to plug away at grade level for years only to get a belated call up ando get taken to on debut. But I honestly don't think his bowling will ever be much chop at this level. Personally I wouldn't have went back to Feldman with the white ball either, he reminds me of your typical English county seamer these days, and that isn't a compliment.Wildermuth out, Prestwidge out, Gode call-up
You can't get a bigger eye-opener than a first ball duck and 4 overs for 50. As they say, it can only get better from here.
Marcuss was telling me he doesn't typically achieve much with the ball for Valleys anyway and is basically just a batsman. He probably deserves another go as a bat, but if he's not going to bowl much the balance of their side is massively skewed as it is.Do feel sorry for Gode, must be tough to plug away at grade level for years only to get a belated call up ando get taken to on debut. Yeah fair enough, agree that the team balance looks off though, not sure what exactly is the solution for that? I'm assuming Billy was just being cottonwooled, and will be back next game, but as a out and out #11 him returning wouldn't really help that matterMarcuss was telling me he doesn't typically achieve much with the ball for Valleys anyway and is basically just a batsman. Well Prestwidge was injured, I assume he'll come back in when fit (not sure when that's going to be though). The game before this one Steketee batted seven, and that's probably fraught with just as much danger as trying to get ten overs out of Gode/Hemphreys/Burns on a small ground.Yeah fair enough, agree that the team balance looks off though, not sure what exactly is the solution for that?
