There was an article on the CA website I think (it might have been somewhere else, can't remember exactly) in the offseason about how hard he works on his batting. Apparently he spends almost as much time on it as the actual batsmen.

I've been impressed with his ability to play a few different roles with the bat this season despite his limited natural talent -- hard work paying off.

Yeah I thought SOK's OD career might be kind of done once he got dropped for Green. Almost worth it to see Abbott bat eleven though.

I reckon Larkin needs a good innings here (ie: not just a slow 30 and then out immediately after attempting to accelerate) to ever play OD cricket again, too. But I didn't think he'd ever play OD cricket even at the beginning of the season, soo...
