I'm not going to make a habit of defending much Australian beer but seeing as there a number of different varietals of Stone & Wood, I struggle to see how you can think they all taste like piss.
I'm pretty sure I actually bought you a schooner of Stone & Wood once.

When I was in Sydney a couple years ago we had a big day out with my Aussie cousins and their mates watching their home one day series against nz. The round was jugs of stone and wood not sure which variation, they all loved it but it wasn't for me. I don't particularly like craft beers anyway

Wood isn't fast.
England think of him as fast.

I would guess Anderson, Broad, Curran, Woakes, Stokes and Wood as the six bowlers for the Test squad.

At one time we had 4 bowlers e.g. Anderson, Broad, Finn and Swann. They we got an all rounder and moved to 5 bowlers. Now for some reason we are starting to have 6. 4 seamers and 2 spinners, a bit like the ODI team. Soon it will be the ODI team playing Tests. Talk of Roy being called up....

Wood has only played one cricket match since Cheltenham in July (when he broke down on the first day) and that was the two-dayer v Leicestershire!!

Does nobody see the importance of specialist ''taking the lacquer off the ball'' openers when making these suggestions?

Squad out in just under 3 hours.

Can see them going Jennings, Burns, Denly and Vince.

Allowing Pope England Lions time not the worst idea.

I don't really get his selection unless they are looking for Denly to play at 3 and move Moeen back down the order

The selectors have wilted under the HEAT. Burns have showed them who is Boss. Thank the lord they have picked Burns and Leach. And for the love of all creatures great and small SELECT Burns for the first test. It is a CATASTROPHE Burns didn't make his test debut in the 5th test at Oval (at the very latest). He should have at leat 10 tests under his test by now. Hopefully it's lit a fire in him that will never go out. And I pray England pick Leach and he bowls his best..

Denly and Jennings are garbage (in this standard)

Selectors haven't learnt. Just look at Denly's FC average. Painful.
