*Official* India Tour of England 2018

Curran and Woakes are better new ball options than Broad. Good work by England. Rahul and Pant put them under pressure. Rashid’s beauty to Rahul was the difference between India winning and losing. It looked ominous at tea.

"I honestly can't recall ever enjoying a series more than this one. Two very good teams with both sides fielding great players.

Admittedly I might not have enjoyed it if we lost but India at times also played brilliantly and you can easily understand why they are #1 in the rankings.

Both teams should take a bow."

Good comment I saw on BBC nails on my thoughts about the test series

McGrath being the most prolific wicket taker told me the importance of accuracy. It told me that you don't have to flashy to succeed. You just have to be ****ing amazing and what you do and success will come your way. It taught me to be cunning; working and sticking to a good plan.

Or you could just be relentlessly mediocre. Fml.

It was a good, borderline great, series this. I enjoyed it, granted I could only follow it sporadically. It was largely played in the right spirit also, the usual Jimmyness and Kohli's parody of the bat drop aside.

The standard of cricket has been very high in the series. The only downers have been Jennings and the fielding has sometimes been suspect.

Burns doing work as we speak undefeated on 89. If Jennings tours I pray to god all he does is carry the drinks.
Burns should open for sure, but god knows who else with cook gone. Usually this is about the time Englishmen start quietly inquiring if Trescothick is still knocking about
We are in a curious position where the only player that seems sure to open is yet to play a test.
