I don't think so. I agree, AB de Villiers is the best bat in the world, he's far better than Kohli (who is overrated), but Karthik's batting has been burdened by his wicketkeeping. He has made great sacrifices, whereas AB de Villiers eventually became a specialist batsman. Had Karthik remained a specialist batsman, he would definitely have reached AB de Villier's level. You just to have see his grace and calmness and strokemaking whilst batting. He could still reach AB's level (as you saw in Nihadas Trophy).


Karthik should be our specialist wicketkeeper. He has consistently been wronged by Kohli.

A lot of people just have a lot to learn. It's one thing disagreeing, that's fine. We all have different opinions. But throwing abuse around because of it is child in the playground kind of thing.

If you see someone throwing abuse around you can report it. The mods have low tolerance for non-banter abuse. But if someone is scathing with their criticism of the contents of a post, you just got to not take it personally.

Try saying something that these aforementioned toxic guys agree with; and you would be celebrated as a great poster. In fact the basic idea for glory and ATGhood here is to get into the good books of the most toxic characters; hail their favourite players as your own favourite players etc. Otherwise, you would end up as just another ATVG.

Said it all along, he shouldn't have been dropped when he was and he shouldn't have been picked now. Strange career he has had. Guess he is going to Sri Lanka though.

Nah that wasn't trolling. That was classic whiny bitching. You know the old saying that batsmen should never show the bowler they're hurt? Cow was hurting when his side got a bath and showed it. He rubbed the spot and cried like a toddler.

Also Moonsorrow is right. His opinion toward Cook is a fair and obliquely acknowledged by Cook himself by announcing his retirement. Fanbois should be less sensitive and more tolerant of the obvious fact he's not a test standard player anymore.
