How can you dispute that is not an awful batting line up for international cricket? That team would be steam rolled by any decent attack. I did not say bairstow is improving in TESTS, he has improved as a batsman on a whole and I think hes good enough to improve his test record.

I mentioned Morgan (not as an opener) yes as a wacky/alternative kind of choice as english first class cricket is not producing good batsman no more, hence the England A failures as well.

Well we now have some sort of score on the board, probably still a hundred or so short of what is needed but at least we are still in the game if we bowl well. Then again we need to catch well more importantly as we have bowled well most of the summer and caught bugger all.

Curran is an aesthetically pleasing player, in the sense that it's aesthetically pleasing to see some ****ing runs next to an ****ing england batsman today

Curran needs to be batting 6. It's a shame for him he might not get a chance to get to 100. He's going to have to tee off home and/or hope Anderson doesn't get out. Anderson survives about 25 balls on average, if he can survive that long Curran can get to 100 if he doesn't get out.

England have about 7 players who should be batting 6 or 7!!! They have 0 openers or any 1-5 players bar Root (not atm)

Based on what? They all have strong FC averages. You can't tell me a player with FC average comfortably over 40 isn't test match standard when they haven't played a test.

You are clearly incredibly immature by your reply. Yes I believe Kallis is a better test match batter than Sachin and plenty of stats would back me up on the opinion.

Morgan isn't getting a game for England unless there's a brawl within the side and they want to captain him batting him 6. Not happening even in your wildest dreams. Nor is Roy.

Bairstow isn't improving in tests, that's all that's relevant. Limited overs cricket isn't relevant to test cricket. You behave like you're 13 years old, most immature poster I've seen on here.
