***Official*** English Football Season 2018-19

The good news for Jose is, plenty of people are backing him and putting the blame on Woodward etc, so where he to leave soon, he will still have plenty of supporters. FFS if a mug like Martinez can get a class job like managing Belgium, Jose should be ok!

United actually tried to play positively last night and were good in the first half, but weren't exactly clinical especially Lukaku who has started the season horribly missed an absolute sitter.

He won't be in charge next year, but when does Ed say feck off?

They've done this before though, they seem to get really revved up at certain occasions and come out like a steam train, but it never seems remotely sustainable or repeatable.

Word today is that Mourinho "will be given the chance to turn things around", which sounds to me like a sly joke, since Woodward's refusal to sign any players took away any chance Mourinho had.

A recurring feature of Mourinho's time at United has been people mistaking terrible performances for negative tactics.

Didn't see the game but BBC said he started Hererra in a 3 man defense. That just sounds wrong?

Tough enough draws for United, Liverpool, and Spurs.

Will take it though. My age makes United-Juve the Champions League tie for me.

Don't think United's and Liverpool's are that tough considering their seeding. Liverpool got so lucky last season getting CSKA as the top seed. Spurs got the toughest 4th seed though. That's rough.
