Reckon you could make a couple of phone calls and see if you could get TOTAB to join up?And yeah, people were very skeptical that it was in fact Martin Crowe, which I guess is understandable. but even though he provided his bona fides they kept at him til he left. Probably the biggest shame in CW history apart from ***** joining. It would have been so good to have him stay and get his insights. What a great cricketer he was.

Crowe was best in the world for one test against Australia in 85-86 at the Gabba (glorious knock tbf). Border was best in the world for the best part of a decade. The world's greatest post-WW2 cricketer by a mile.
Lesson: sometimes things can work out by taking them at face value. Being a cynical bastard isn't always beneficial. And yeah, people were very skeptical that it was in fact Martin Crowe, which I guess is understandable. but even though he provided his bona fides they kept at him til he left.
