Tbf we're just getting owned by really good bowling. Hard to feel bad about that. It's not like any other batting lineup ATM would play this quality of bowling much better.

Great bowling but it's not raining thunderbolts from the heavens. India are just not good enough to deal with this TBH. They've talked plenty about wanting to do well abroad but can't back it up.

Geeez Pandya pumped his chest out in SA and backed himself.

That was some pathetic fishing from him.

Talk is all you get with Ravi Shastri. Such an embarrassing human being.

That's because all batting line ups now suck. Compare this vs say 2003-2010 across the world...when Australia, India, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka even and also Pakistan had pretty good batting line ups relative to anything going around right now. Around that time there was all the talk about poor quality of bowling and every team had 2-3 guys averaging above 50 with the bat. Now Test cricket has actually changed dramatically in favour of the bowlers...mostly due to bad batting to be honest.

I have just switched over to enjoying English pace bowling

Bhuvi is not in xi just when he could have been a beast.

What lineup going around would fare better than India have so far?

You have to deal with these spells if you want to get results abroad. They'll do well when the home cycle comes around and all will be forgotten.

I'm in a grumpy, cynical mood today. :)

Best i've seen Woakes bowl in Test matches. Just relentless.
Yeah I agree, if he can get back to where he was that summer he averaged sub 20 it would be huge for the side with Broad and Anderson getting on.

Savage swing from Curran there, how do you even play that?
