What I really liked today was Umesh not bowled for a long time. The look of shock on his face was golden while he fielded and even when he bowled for a while. He bowled better and looked genuinely happy taking that wicket. Onya Kohli.

It's also a question of confidence too, isn't it. That's why we have all these half attempts at playing balls outside off. They just don't know what's coming out of the hand, and can't seem to make up their mind early if they want to hit or just let it go. Some credit goes to the bowlers for creating this doubt, but also you have to question why our batsmen aren't batting with a clear mind. Pressure to score runs? Is that from wanting to do well too badly, or from trying to keep their spot in the team? Or is it a lack of desire, which means they can't focus? Or do they not believe in their own games, and so can't commit early one way or another?

I think Kohli hit that

@*****: it's lack of playing proper longer form cricket. It's a habit. One can't just come and play a test match out of the blue. Test match batting average this year is 27, the lowest it has been in 80 years. That says some thing.

Now that Vijay or Dhawan has tried their best to nominate themselves to sacrifice their opening role for next match. Who should replace them. Sad part is that, we might move Rahul up and bring in Chepu. Both of them are aweful in present form.

Are umpires allowed to go to the third umpire for catches without a review?

Oh got it. Yeah that's out. Shame, Rahane.
