Well, a slippy thread sounds like the only appropriate place for this.
I pooped bright red blood last night but it's fine now. Am I going to die or could it be just barbecue sauce?
Sounds like what happens after reading too many of Burgey's posts

International Captain
Bopara played a match saving innings yesterday smashing 38 off 22 balls against a decent country attack in hampshire in a 20 20 game, i still think Ravi has 2 more years in international cricket left in him after all the years the selectors labelled him a wasteman.

Bopara was basically the English Voges, if you multiplied everything Voges did by a factor of 0.5.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Very good ODI all rounder (batting, bowling, fielding).

Averaged 64 at a SR of 182 over 7 innings in the 2015 WC. World Cup winner.

Still largely untried in tests, and still hasn't played a test in home conditions. Might never get a decent run in tests, and I dont think he'll ever be a test superstar even if he gets an extended run, but I could see him averaging around 35-40 plus being handy as a fifth bowling option.

Gun 20/20 player. I think he'll fade quickly once he loses his eye.

I wonder who's played the most tests for their country without playing a test in their home country. Cos it's very possible over the next 3 years that MMarsh will play all the tests in Aus/SA and Eng, while Maxi will play on the subcontinent.

Can't see why he hasn't been tried more in tests given who they have actually given a run to in the last few years. One of the best limited overs players around and bizarre he has at times been dropped in the shorter game too.

Was at the scg when he destroyed SL in the WC semi in 2015. Was an insanely good knock.

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
yeah you'd think with no Smith/Warner for a while there'd be a spot for him somewhere next series

but the selectors really don't like him
