He’s been working pretty close to the edge for a while, hopefully it isn’t too serious and after he recovers he can wrestle in a more mortal style.

i had some thoughts after Itami's GTS got banned by the WWE which I never posted and I have similar thoughts now and I'll get on the front foot in anticipation of how this will be discussed around all the places. (as opposed to it being in response to anything said already)

I really hate how when something like this happens, it goes straight into the blame game. I think it's because of owen hart's tombstone on austin and how the WWE responded, but whenever something like this happens - a wrestler does a move, it's botched, another wrester gets hurt - I feel like we go straight into "that move is dumb and stupid and I never liked it and it should be banned forever now" or it's some kind of "tut tut, you had this coming" and it really sucks. wrestling is dangerous and bad stuff happens on mundane stuff. takayama was paralysed on a sunset flip, rey masterio drop kicked perro aguayo jr who went into cardiac arrest, tyson kidd nearly died on a move samoa joe hit a 1000 times.

hiromu wasn't intentionally dropped on his head, which is enough for me, and so I'm just sad that luck didn't fall his way. but "a broken neck" is vague so hopefully he can recover

Hiromu has been wrestling a style for a while now where he’s taking more risky bumps all the time. I don’t think any particular bump or wrestler should be blamed, but he can’t continue a career taking the amount of risks he does.

I usually think he dies about three times a match. Ospreay is pretty much the same though since his own injury scare has seemed a tad more grounded.

“And what the hell is Hakus problem?”

BtE is best show.

Also love that Flip could very well be the NWA champ going into All In.

Maybe it was, but that's not saying much. I know neither are any great shakes in the ring obvs but jeez this was the first time in a while I thought they both looked positively awful.

Love Mickie though. Fantastic.

Been watching some of Daniel Bryan's old ROH matches recently. God damn, the KENTA and Nigel McGuinness matches. Never been a huge fan of all of the YES stuff but he was great during that period.

Oh yeah that McGuiness-Daneilson feud is one of my favourites ever.

Those ringpost headbutts are very uncomfortable to watch though.

Not a positive sign when a legitimate thought during the match is “I’d prefer to see Natalya vs. Mickie James”

Yeah, the crowd had no idea how to react to the ringpost spot. Kind of dumb, but the imagery of McGuinness' bloody face definitely sticks with you.

The Bobby Roman match was pretty good, thought they had good chemistry. Will be interesting if one of them turns for that big heel run.Definitely Lashleys best match back by a large margin.

Also the Styles Rusev match was great and should hopefully have given Rusev an outside shot at a genuine title run down the road.

Everything else was pretty alright, not a lot of egregiously bad stuff but not a lot of stuff worth actually watching. Like back to back half decent raw main event matches instead of PPV quality stuff.

Bob/Rom was ok I thought, quite a few botches. Thought at first the crowd was going to **** on it, but they seemed to get into it after a while.

Rusev vs AJ was good, but Ru Ru has "fodder challenger" written all over him. He ain't getting the strap any time soon.
