International Captain
So for the T20 they flew in Wildermuth, Swepson and Maddinson (out is Paine, Marsh, Lyon and Neser).

I think all 3 are unlikely to play, but then why bother to send them over for just one game?

Surely they could have just kept Paine, Marsh and Lyon as cover for injury as they are at least used to english conditions?

The T20 squad looks even worse than the ODI squad. I swear the T20 team was strong af or that Tri-series earlier in the year.

With five runs to get, he took a single off the first ball of the 48th over by Richardson to expose Ball (:naughty:).

We could easily be talking about how he blew it after getting so close.
Was that the one where he nailed it down the ground? If so, yup, that was a mistake. We all need some luck from time to time, though, and Ball handled some good bowling too.

Yes, that was the one.

The other interesting call was in the final over when he turned down the single that would have tied the scores; not something you see very often. But presumably he was seeing it like a football by then.

You're joking aren't you? He's the Richard of the South Seas.
No, I was serious Burgey. We need more interesting and involved persons. He went into detail every time he wanted to defend his position which irked people but also gave some new insights. I was not there when Richard was here but have seen his posts which are similarly quite detailed and involved. So, I can understand why the members here got pissed off by Miyagi.

There is nothing wrong with exhaustive detail, and I don't think that's the part of his posting that irked Burgey. That definitely isn't what bothered me.

It's only a problem if you try to argue with him. When he starts on doing whatever he does just laugh and move on, regardless of how absurd it is, and it won't bother you. Why did he get banned anyway?

Because his bait was apparently that good that even mods found it hard to resist.

The real Miyagi was interesting; far more so than the imitation Miyagis who engaged with him in monotonously protracted arguments.

He wasn't interesting for a while though. His recent postings were just painfully unfunny troll attempts.

England need a re think concerning Root. He should not be in before Bairstow. Laughable decision. Root shouldn’t be in england’s t20 cricket at all in my view

Bairstow would he looking to go at a 200+ SR from ball one is he came in. Disappointing from England to waste Bairstow tbh.

Honestly who ****ing cares about this 'series'? Let Root have a go at finishing an innings.

Well bowled in the last over by Tye. This will take some chasing however

I think Hales is a great player , really good hitter. Another good innings from him and Buttler. Root did ok , but the problem is his ceiling for maximum performance is much lower than the others as he lacks power . I would have much preferred Bairstow have had those deliveries instead of Root. Good from Morgan and Bairstow off not many deliveries and good from roy
