Our ideal test opening partnership was Dimuth and Silva..still.dont get why Silva was removed?
Some idiots think only about runs. Kaushal Silva on average played 60 balls on even the most difficult situations. The selectors never considered the help he was giving in shielding middle order from new ball. Only criticism is that Kaushal rarely converted the starts he had, and rarely he and Dimuth both played a sizable innings.

Just watched the highlights of play so far. Loving Dowrich's contributions. He's really becoming the new Ridley Jacobs. Seems to always get the Windies out of trouble with the bat when they need it!

Has Roshen Silva ever batted in the same position two innings in a row? Always seems to be randomly sent in between 5-7 for no reason.

Disagree, Holder clearly a cut above Ashwin with the bat. Makes a lot of his runs under pressure, as opposed to merely cashing in against tired attacks when the top order have already done most of the job.

The good signs for the Windies are that they're not just giving up when things start flowing against them

Interested to know whether Beamer went to the match today. Looks like some test crowds have come back to life

D/N in the Windies are brutal in terms of hours of play. Have managed to watch a grand total of about 7 overs :\

Yep I was there again. It was still small by previous standards but it was loud so the atmosphere was way better. The pitch really helped as crowds here love pace bowling and the ball has zipped through.

Has SL refused to take the field again in protest at what I've heard them describe as a pretty average lunch buffet?

Batting - Shakib, Holder, Ashwin: Bowling - Ashwin, Shakib, Holder

That is a very good reason to whine according to certain player who was taking Baked beans with him.

Yes but he didn’t refuse to play because there were no baked beans available.

Can you imagine if a Aussie did something like that? Spitting the dummy and refusing to take the field for a couple hours for any reason?

They'd be banned for life by the board in an instant and that would just be the start of it.
