Don't think a full strength Australian side (including the sandpaper crowd) can win a series, either home or away, against this English side.

yeah lets see how hales and roy go when they're dealing with starc or boult hooping swing rather than a pack of scrubs

probably much like the 2015 england side.

root is head and shoulders above the other batsmen in his team. they're not bad - root is just that good in real odis. stokes also walks in.

England already smashed Boult in 2015 and 2018. Stop dreaming.

I like Boult and Root too, but England has a plan than Boult is unable to stop without a Duke, in Eng or NZ.

But Boult is a better bowler than CW accepts, in any format. But the disrespect is to all non Big 3 and Amla suffers it the most offensively.

the thing is with you is you could be serious

we both watched the same world cup right? the one where nz won every game until the final was tragically cancelled because shane warne died from his own self importance?

a sad day.

That was before NZ toured there and lost right? Or England toured here and won? Or both?

What are you talking about?
Aus's problem is not solved by Smith. Warner only slightly helps. It is the Aus ability to post big scores that is the big problem. You need more sr and more batting deep.

Haze will be smacked from his length like McGrath's early IPL retirement. Who is your Malinga or Bumrah? 'Cos your Mustafizur slower ball specialist in Tye just got found out!

Tim Paine, watching his post match interview yesterday it struck me what a courteous, gentile, honest and well-mannered individual he was. The polar opposites of the characteristics required to be the Australian cricket captain.

Aus need to bite the bullet and get the sandpaper cheats back in the team ASAP. They are such a soft **** team at present.

england won plenty of bilateral series when they were terrible. look at the 2007 commonwealth bank series.

then witness the 2007 world cup

you can swing away with your bat and pretend you don't need good bowlers when there's another 5682734 games that year. when it's a world cup where everyone is watching and if you hole out it could be curtains on the only ODI campaign that matters, that's a different story.

this is why joe root strolls into the team. he's capable of adjusting his innings to suit, can play good bowlers when they care, and is generally englands best batsman.

hales and roy are good players but you don't drop root for them or stokes.

England hasn't had a good bowler since they dropped Anderson from the ODI and keep winning. Where are you going with this exactly?

Starc bowls...
"Not enough to restrict a team like this"
"Australia needs more aggressive batting"
"outdated mode of ODI cricket"

etc. etc.

Saving Miyagi the trouble. Even he must get sick of posting the same thing over and over eventually.

He's from Tasmania, like Boon and Punter, they whinge but they're cool overall, nothing like continental Strayans.
