Australian Domestic Off Season 2018

Is Maxwell not being there a good or a bad sign? Especially when Handscomb being there is considered.

The fact that they're trying to set MMarsh up as a future captain means that there's absolutely zero chance that any pitch in Australia will ever have a blade of grass on it again.

Qld winning has catapulted Neser and Doggett into contention. I'm not sure either are than good but Neser rocks with the Duke ball.

Good sign. It will he age/experience related.

I like the look of Doggett tbh, still pretty raw but he is tall and can be genuinely rapid on his day. Joel Paris is the more questionable selection, has barely been able to get on the park over the last two seasons, and looked somewhat undercooked in the few times he has actually played.

I would have picked Paris in one dayers and not the 4 dayers, instead hes been picked the other way around.

Tom Rogers is unlucky to be behind Doggett.

Strongly agree. Rogers was definitely the superior performing bowler, and he can bat too.

Yes I would have liked to see Rogers get a chance now that I think of it, he looked like a quality bowler last season, probably the most complete of the first season bowlers. Good strong action, decent pace, can swing it around a bit and seems to have a pretty good bouncer too.

Tom Rogers, what an excellent season he had. But utterly meaningless.

Unless you have potential, anything you do is sh*t.

Billy Stanlake is probably next in line for the Test side. Really showed his potential in those 2 First-class games in his career.

With any luck Tom Rogers will finally get selected to play a Test match in 8-9 years when he's well past his best

I just checked what Haze's injury actually was (so hard right?). Nice to see a full 4/4 from the meme quartet with their usual injuries.

James Sutherland stepping down as CA CEO.

He probably got harshly maligned on occasion but I think very few think this wasn't before time.

That sort of response to my inquiry about how much the gig pays will be the first thing I change once appointed.
