Three times Elgar has been dismissed with leading edge off Lyon this series I reckon. Might be worth having Lyon open in the 2nd innings.

Biff was the tough one !

Scored at 60SR in his career which is freaky for his job description. I went for the aesthetics. But Smith probably more in this group.

Suppose Melville, Goddard was also aesthetically good shot-making openers.

Bruce Mitchell ? Can't forget Wessels and stodgy :D
