The thing I didn't like about De Grandhomme bowling was that it felt like every second over was a mental rest for the batsman. Facing Astle (and Wagner/Southee/Boult) is surely more mentally demanding and facing that leads to mistakes.

Yeah, could have Broad caught off Astle a couple of overs ago with a leg slip? They have one now. This is ridiculously tense. Just like 5 years ago.
