Well, let's see what actually happens and then we'll know who's thinking is more in line with Williamson's.
For the record- I think it'll make almost no difference. Just think given that you're 90% guaranteed a win at this point you might as well close it out.

So the plan for today? My guess is try and bat sensibly for the morning. If we make it through to lunch, accelerate in the afternoon and if everything goes to plan, declare 20 minutes before dinner?

At the moment the forecast is good, possibility of 1 or 2 light showers clearing in the evening.

The pitch is doing a fair bit so far today. Hope that's still the case when it's our turn to bowl again.

We'll get to bowl under lights with a new ball, so I'd be very surprised if it doesn't do anything.

The way the ball has moved around i'd be tempted to declare. Get England in and make them sweat, have to bat 5 not 4 sessions to save it..

Not really a fan of the ACC, but it’s undeniably better than Sky. Really wish Sky would make a similar deal with the he radio sport team.

Quite enjoyed Peter McGlashan on Radio Sport when I was driving home on Friday. Seems like quite an insightful/thoughtful bloke.

Ish Sodhi taking 7/30 today. The calls for his inclusion in the 2nd test are going to get seriously loud.

It'll be tricky for NZ to make any changes to the bowling attack after this match surely, given that most of them didn't even get a chance to do anything wrong in the first innings.
