I wonder if there will be any recent to semi-recent talented, injury plagued bowlers who get into a team like Harris and Reid did for Australia.

As jimmy101 says, Simon Jones is possible. Maybe Dean Headley as well. I might go for a sixties injury plagued bowler in the form of David Larter, as well as another funnily truncated career (Fred Rumsey) and someone who only played two tests but was better than a lot of bowlers who have already been picked (Les Jackson). The heart wants to pick Alan Ward, but the head says no.
