Tbf, he wasn't batting well recently in the ODIs... I know it's a different format and all but he looked a bit out of sorts.Hope you're being sarcastic. First test was not poor by any means.
Reverse-sweeps , late cuts , leg glances, edges.Khawaja 20 of 37 behind square. Interesting strategy.
Even before he could defend, when Mitch Marsh hit the ball, it stayed hit. One of the cleanest hitters around.Good God at that pull shot from Marsh off Ngidi. Save your legs.
His own fault for listen to qdk and big vern. They are terrible at reviews.Reckon Faf is gonna read the riot act to his players re: reviews.
Tbh if you can't rely on your keeper, then you're never going to be any good at reviews regardless of what you do.His own fault for listen to qdk and big vern. They are terrible at reviews.
The problem is that the keeper and bowler are the ones with the best view, so he does have to rely on them to some extent. His own fault for listen to qdk and big vern. They are terrible at reviews.
He actually does this exact sort of knock a lot: team is way behind on the first innings, puts together an impressive looking start (having done little in the previous few innings), but falls when set. It's definitely a pattern.Pretty impressive knock from khawaja. He doesn't usually do ugly gritty knocks does he?
